General Mach Discussion / Re: Mach Workshop at Cabin Fever Expo
« on: October 29, 2008, 05:12:01 PM »
So do any of you know which day(s) you'll be attending? I want to go on Friday as I'm not sure I'll be able to make it on Saturday.

Just out of curiosity, how long do the seminars last? For instance, here's Fridays agenda:

Friday
1) Mechanical Considerations. Stepper, servos, ballscrews, belts, pullies, etc
2) Electronics, BOBs, SS, Geckos, Power supplies, general wiring hints
3) Installing Mach and basic config, ports and pins, motor tuning, basic test and debug
4) General config, choosing the right answers.

It starts at 9:00 and then it goes until??

Hi Dan,

Yep, I've had Best Test and Last Word indicators both fail but had sent them out to a local guy to be cleaned many years ago and they've been great ever since.

I guess they just get "sticky" after awhile  :D
