Mach Screens / Re: FRO Slider Help?

Hi Brett, sorry about the confusion!

I actually have my own screen set that I wanted to implement the sliders onto as I hate the original colors.

I think I have it figured out now, but never in a million years did I think you had to use the DRO button for a slider, lol!

The trick is the format string, tab group, and the "skined" (should be spelled "skinned"  ;) ) should be checked as well.

Looks and works great but the forum doesn't allow bmp files so my colors look pretty drab  ;D

Mach Screens / FRO Slider Help?
« on: January 04, 2009, 02:01:25 PM »
Hi guys, in Screen 4, which button in the left hand window do I choose to setup my own FRO Slider that the red arrow in my screenshot below, shows?

I've tried them all but I don't see that choice in the "system function" drop down box.

Also, in the format string box it says "SDTL5H250%3.0f"

How do I add that?

Thanks,
Dave

Quadrent should be spelled "quadrant"

Looking very nice, all-   :)

General Mach Discussion / Re: Can Mach3 run under windows CE

Funny, I just looked through the board over there and it was actually used as a wireless controller/pendant.

The software was not running Mach 2 itself.

Here's a pic from the yahoo board that has Mach 2 on a PDA but I've never seen any ifo about it.

Anyone know?

Art, from a guy that has not done a lot of lathe work (mostly precision mill and precision form grinding with surface grinders), I don't think I'll be a big help in the way certain tools/tool inserts will be used in their proper application and unfortunately I know nothing about coding.

I will continue to try dxfs and find weird little issues but I'll probably be quiet when getting into this area as I just don't "know" enough about the proper use of certain toolshapes. Sure, I could fake my way through it but I don't want to end up being another "wrench" thrown into the works, if you catch my drift.  ;)

Dave,
If you don't mind, here is just ONE more ...then I gotta go.
3 simple 3pt arcs. Works perfectly in "other" CAM.  ::)
Works well also if drawn the same way with "other" CAD.  ::)

Please post your results,
Thanks.
