Zeeschuim, great video but would you please tell me more about your South Bend conversion?

Do you have a build thread on it somewhere? I would love to know more - :)

Thanks,
Dave

Very nice, could you be a little more detailed about your cool jet setup?

Thanks for sharing-

Fingers crossed, Sam, and here's my PS-4 with a dinky reverse maple neck I used to have years ago.

I kind of miss that one-  :)

Sorry for the bad pic but it's the only one I have of it-

Nevermind, I just hamfisted my way through it and had to delete the background and put it back up again and all is fine now-

Mach Screens / Missing Toolpath?
« on: April 10, 2009, 12:04:52 PM »
Hi guys,

I'm making up my own lathe screen and basically what I've done is just saved my custom mill screen to an lset file because I'm used to where everything is.

Now everything seems to be working but the toolpath does not show up on 2 of my screens like it does for my mill screen set. It shows up on the MDI and the Diagnostics page, but not my Toolpath and Program Run pages. Seems very odd.... lol.

Is this a quirk with lathe screens or am I missing something?

Thanks for your time-  :)

Well, not really, Rc, as the side dots for the fret markers have to be installed as well so if it was a lefty neck for a righty, there would be no side markers for the player to see  ;). They just make the necks in both styles as a preference thing. The black with silver metalflake crackle I showed is actually a neck-through guitar.

Ian: very cool that you made just about everything and the bass, including the pickups. I guess since the tuners are socket head cap screws, it's a good thing it stays in tune very well-  :D

Ed: Yep, but I don't really consider myself a collector, more of a "hoarder" lol!!

I'll post some more soon-

Thanks for sharing!

My tuner head is an opposite of yours , which is a little unhandy.

But the reverse headstocks look so damn good -  ;D
