I'm using 3.042.038
When I attach something I get this--Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again.

LazyTurn / Threading Deviation

I tried to post this with attachments (picture & XML) but couldn't. I posted on the Machsupport page as "Post Problem" (this can be erased or moved) so now I'm in two places.

While threading the carriage makes an unauthorized triangular jog at the start of the thread.
The pass it happens on is never consistent but it always happens no matter which threading wizard I use.
I have tried other gcode shapes and they run OK.  I use a slotted optical spindle speed sensor bypassing
the BOB and have tried denounce from 0 to 10.  I'm stuck but I have faith in you guys. Thanks, Ben
It seems like when you have one problem everything else becomes a problem while trying to solve the first. Murphy ?

Thanks Hood, I only have 3 programs on this computer, Mach, Windows XP and Nastrodom that operates my keypad. I think it's Nostro that is the problem. Ben

General Mach Discussion / Work Offline Msg
« on: March 01, 2012, 11:25:36 AM »
I use a desk top computer with XP to run a Mach with no other connection to the outer world.
When its running I get a repeating message saying "WORK OFFLINE -- No connection to the internet is currently
available. To view internet content that has been saved on your computer, click Work Offline." This message
stops the program and ruins what ever I was cutting. I've turned off everything I can find that has to do with
the internet or networks.  How can I stop this message from appearing? Please help Thanks, Ben

Thanks for the quick response. When I look at the G code it has a curve statement "G3" at each corner. Ben

LazyCam (Beta) / LCam Offset corners
« on: January 16, 2012, 08:28:25 PM »

I draw a box in TurboCad 18, explode it 8 times and save as a DXF.
In LCam I optimize it, select offset, a 1/4" mill, choose outside and a direction.
When I click Create Offset it offsets but rounds all the corners. If I choose inside it
does ok. What am I doing wrong? Ben

General Mach Discussion / Re: Estop won't release

Thanks Hood. I found an old XML that worked and now it's OK. The reason this took so long is my wife's dishwashing machine died. If it's not working I get to do the dishes sooo I spent 2 days taking it apart, all of it, and found a small dish chip stuck under the impeller stopping the main motor from turning. Luckily the motor was OK and I reassembled the whole mess and I'm not doing the dishes. Thanks again, Ben

The steppers have power to them but not turning they are on hold. If I want to turn the feed handle by hand it won't turn.
