General Mach Discussion / Problem in Turning after Threading

 Dear All

I have designed 3-axis milling and also lathe both are working very nicely using Mach3. Now after a number trails of turning taken in lathe i observed one problem i.e. if i run G76 for threading, it works very nicely. but after that if run simple truning then it is not working correctly. e.g. my code is G01 z-20 F50. then z axis should move with the feedrate of 50mm/minute. instead of that it moves 2000mm/minute which is my rapid speed.
this problem remains as it is till i shut down mach3 and restart it. after restarting if i run simple turning job then it works perfactly. but again if i run G76 thread command then threading is Ok but after that it is not recongnizing G01 code and it always consider G00 and executes all command with G00 even if i mention G01. i have not use G32. and threading file is made from the simple threading wizard given in Mach.  kindly give the suggession on this.

General Mach Discussion / Lazycam Turning Problem

Dear All

I have made one Dwg in autocad and opened in lazycam as turning job. i have licenced fir LC and Mach3. The problem is Gcode file generated by LC is not opening in the Mach and showing "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to startLine 29" this error. i am attaching some of the photos with test.tap file. can any body tell me why this is happening.

General Mach Discussion / Configuring Start Button as Push Button

Dear All

I have 3-Axis CNC Machine running by Mach3. Now while taking production on the machine every time my operator has to press start Button from the Screen using the Mouse. I would like to configure this start button from the outside and want to give Push Button. so that operator does not have to press start button from the PC screen using the mouse. he can simply press the start button which is provided at the external like i have provide an Emergency Button. Can any body help me that how can i configure this start button from the externally.

General Mach Discussion / PCB Engraving

I am desiginig PCB in Protel software. This can generate gerber files of PCB. I want to milling it using Isolation method. I have 3-axis CNC machine controlled by MACH3. Is there any procedure to convert protel gerber file to mach3 code?

General Mach Discussion / threading on lathe

Dear All

I am using Mach3 for my lathe application. Can anybody tell me that how can i make thread and turning both in a single job in any CAM software. and how it will be converted into gcode? i can not use a threading wizard of MACH as it will give code only for threading while i want threading and turning both in a single job. Please help me.

Dear All

I am new user of MACH3. I have installed it and it is working very nicely. I have defined Emergency Switch as external input from parallel port pint11. Now my question is can i define Stop button externally? i.e. i want to stop the machine when i press stop button from externally. Input may be taken to pin 10. when i press this button machine will stop there and then by pressing Cycle Start button i can continue the cycle. the advantage is that it will never skip the current code which is running. while in pressing emergency button and then pressing cycle start machine will skip the current code and start from the next code. which will damage the material as well as tool also. Please suggest me what to do if i want to configure STOP button from externally.
