Ya that was the problem.  My mach3 post in mastercam had a max spindle speed of 2000.  Now i just gotta find a way to make it auto add my G4 command.  I dont like editing my gcodes after i make them.  I perfer to let the software do all the coding.  I mean its simple to add a g4 command but i just dont like messing around with the codes.

My spindle takes about 20 seconds to get up to higher rpm's and mach always want to send it into action b4 its there.  im always needing to pause feed it.  and then starting it back up when the rpm is up.  Any suggestions would be great.

I am using mastercam verison 9.1 as a cam program.  im also tring to figure out why mastercam wont output the right rpm to my router.  I type in 24000rpm in mastercam and the gcord it outputs always says 2000.  I always half to go in and change it.

The controller is Sound Logic's new speed controll board.  It runs off the parallel port. It uses a chargepump to control the speec controller.  The VFD is a AC Tech.  So it is connected like this:

Computer serial cable connects to the Sound Logic Speed controller which is connected to the VFD which hooks to the spindle.

There is no motor.  Its just a spindle controlled by a VFD.

I am not using anything the sense spindle speed.  The computer is hooked to a spindle speed control via serial port and that is hooked to the VFD and the VFD tells the spindle how fast to turn.

I ran the autocal and it didnt change anything.  I dont think the spindle calibration has anything to do with how my spindle works.  I may be wrong but i think its a diffrent setup you would use that for.  My spindle works threw a chargepump that controls a speed control which hooks to my VFD.
