Keep in mind that polygonal lines are segmented. This may or may not be of any concern to you. If you have a profile with curves, segmented arcs are not ideal.

That's nice, Hood. Good job. I gotta get me one of those keyboards. I see them on Ebay all the time for next to nothing. Are you satisfied with it? Looks like a finger scanner on the bottom right. I doubt that's what it really is, but it looks like one anyhow.

After you install home switches, then yes, you can specify that "home" is anything you wish. Home doesn't have to be zero-zero.

G28 returns the machine to home position. There is a definition of G and M codes on the start-up page in Mach, next to the reset button. The manual has a superb wealth of knowledge for such things too. Definitely worth the time to read through it.
