Nice machine there Marcel. I see you got the controls too. Steppers with Gecko's isn't it?

If your talking about the "J" in the G2 or G3 commands, there is also an "I" value that accompanies the "J".  They specify the center of the arc. There are two modes that are available for specifying I&J in your Mach configuration. Absolute and Incremental. You should be aware of the methods your cam program outputs, and make sure that both it and Mach are set the same. I&J can also specify the endpoints of arcs, distance from start-end of arc, and other confusing methods of arcs. However, I *think* that Mach only interprets them as arc center points, using two methods.
I loaded your code and did not see any obvious errors that would make a deep plunge. Did the plunge happen at the same points both times, or at a random place?

Generally, this is an option that you set in your cam software. What software are you using? There may be some people familiar with the options if we know what your using.

LOL @ Tweak. Na, my humor is not to make people angry. I try to just have fun and hopefully make friends. Lot's of times people just don't see my comments the way their intended, they get offended, and then I wont cross there path again. One quote I remind people of...... "Don't take life to seriously, none of us are going to make it out alive"

General Mach Discussion / Re: Swarf in Keyboard and Mouse!! Ahhhh!

I've been needing a swarf-proof keyboard myself. I was going to try a silicone one. Obviously, they wouldn't hold up to hot chips, but that wouldn't be a concern to me. It would be easy enough to make a solid platform for them.  For 10-15 bucks shipped, I may try one.

Engine turning it would look awesome too! Kinda like the old Firebird dash is. He gonna powder coat the rest? Are you going to make the knobs also? Some engine turned knobs would put a bit of glitz in it without going overboard. How much time you rekon you have in it? Looks awesome Ed, super job!

Neat looking machine you have fabricated there. Hopefully you will get lots of enjoyment out of it. Once you make a few things and see the endless possibilities, you will have "the fever". Currently, there is no cure. I have to agree with super kitty, Mach is ahead of the ballgame compared to others.
