Mach will not import models, or sketches, if that's what your asking. It will, however take the G-code created in Gibbs. Usually, G-code created for fanuc controls will work fine.

I agree, Tweakie. It was very nice of him to share his design work, too. Looks like he has many many hours invested. It's been almost 2 years since he posted, I bet hes not even close to wearing that solid machine out.

No, they certainly will not, Rich.
If your old computer still runs the motors fine, then that kills the drive theory.

I don't know what your problem is for sure. I can tell you that mine done the same thing, to a lesser degree, but only on one axis. I do believe it started on 2 axis after a short period. How I fixed my problem was....I bought some gecko drivers. They solved the problem. Are your drivers the 3or4 in 1? I'm not saying that the drives are the problem, but if might be worth trying some different ones if possible. Good luck.

Well, I cleaned the spider webs off my machine today, and started a project. The wife came home with a fountain, and it was just to bare to look at on top. Instantly, I thought about Neptune. I didn't have anything close to a 4.5 mm ball, so I used a .0781 (5\32) ball. The step-over was a bit much for such a small tool, but I couldn't find a piece of wood wide enough, so I ended up scaling the whole thing down to 87%. That helped the step-over a little bit. I still didn't get as fine a detail on it as I would have liked, though. Next I will make a frame for it to set in. The plaque is black cherry, the frame will be red cherry. Thanks for the code, Art. That's aluminum. You can clearly tell by looking at the molecular configuration.
