Cut out some training wheels, attach them, and then send it back to them.

They do make a special end mill for wood, but I do believe they cost a premium. Here's a couple links Gerry posted a while back.

I never achieved anything close to a good result using anything other than carbide tools. Keep in mind, you need to feed very fast for a 4 flute compared to a 2 flute, and 2 flutes give you allot more room for chips to extract.

Do you need both a roughing bit, and a finishing bit for each collet size?
I always used just a finishing bit for wood.
I use the same carbide cutters for both wood and metal.

I get an error also, but a different one. Mine is "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to startline 7". Your code does not have a "Y" position before the G3, so Mach is really at a loss as to what to do. I simply added a "Y0.0" on line 6. There is also an error on line 170. It reads "N170M) M5 (tool change .5 straight rough)" Take out the "M)" after N170.

Got a link to the pump? Might be a good one for my acid containers.

Nice work! You do know that using CNC is cheating though, don't you?  :)  I read your little section on that. Tell them that anything beyond stone tools and horseback is cheating, so even the fact having a motorcycle is really a no-no. Actually, complex verbal skills such as using full sentences to communicate with is cheating, too, so just tell them to shut the heck up, and stop cheating. Again, nice work you've done. The site is laid out really well, pleasing to the eye, and easy no navigate. You've also gave nice descriptions of the process. Well done indeed.

Keep in mind that when you start Mach, tool zero is active, not tool 1,2,3, etc...

Looks real nice. If you had it to do over again, what would you do differently?
