The syil X-6 is a milling machine. I think what he means is that after the purchase price of the mill and all the other stuff you gotta have, he needs more income, rather than more downtime and expense.

Hard to imagine that the machine will not cut aluminum with the factory setup. That's allot of money for machinery that don't work as intended. What exactly are you trying to do with it, that it's falling short of expectations?

Yeah, that snake is pretty popular. Same guy with the same snake standing in front of the same buildings, "right here in Tennessee in the next county over". I told my wife when I seen it.....That's a fake. It just kinda stuck me as odd the way the guy is holding up that heavy snake. His stance is as if it were something not nearly as heavy. Not sure that little do-dad hes got would even hold up that snake without breaking, also. If you zoom really close in to see the pixels, it looks as if the pixels are from two separate photos, indicating a photochop. I have no doubt the snake is real, just not as it's being portrayed. I seen one timber rattler here that looked to be as thick as a baseball bat. He was coiled up, and I did not dare try to stretch him out and lay a ruler down :)

You've gotta loooooooong way to go before you catch up to filthiness of Hood and I. I think I carry more chips in the soles of my shoes, than most shops have on the entire floor. If I wash the floor mats in my vehicle....they rust.  :o Some shops have an emergency eye-wash station. I have a tetanus station. F.E.M.A declared it as a disaster area. Those machines look clean 'nuff to eat off of, Dave.  :)

Hey, I stared at Daves machine just as much. Is that wrong? I just can't help it. Those linear rails, the neat cable tray, T-slot table, the way that dust shoe snaps right on, it's just sensory overload... I could talk about the woman too, but it probably would not be forum appropriate. :)

Wow Dave, that looks really great! My only complaint is that in pic #8, the machine really gets in the way.
I like the way you mounted the laser in permanently. I had thought about doing the same with a camera, but never got around to it. Maybe one day. Keep the pics commin, the sign you made looked great.
