Newfangled Mill Wizard / Re: Pointer to current version
« on: August 31, 2015, 11:12:18 PM »
I logged into my account, but don't see any way to request a new license. It doesn't show my Wizards license at all.

Thanks

Clarification: Make it the center of that edge. Many things I try to do would be centered along a line down the center of a part, and being able to base features off that center line would be nice. One could pick the center as the origin, but then I have to do a lot of math to figure out how to make features match up with the edges.

Ok, I'll live with this if you can get the other bugs I've pointed out fixed and a new version out where I can use it :)

But why not let me move a tool change into that first position? If it's the second line, I ought to be able to make it the first line. I understand having one being special, but that's no reason to not be able to change it (and by change I don't mean to just edit it).

Newfangled Mill Wizard / Remove 'tool change' bug
« on: December 01, 2013, 04:56:19 PM »
I was modifying a job file and need to delete the first tool change and the associated cut. I can delete the cut, but the tool change refuses to be deleted. I also can't move that tool change down in the list, or move another one to the top of the list. Seems the top tool change is 'special' when it shouldn't be.

Job file attached.

It's been a month since you're previous response about a new version being out in a couple of weeks. Still encountering this bug and looking for a fix.

I assume that the bug in the attached file is the same problem, but on the chance that it's a different issue.

I had just downloaded and got version 1.0.13, so hopefully when the latest one is available the first issue will be solved.

Newfangled Mill Wizard / Arc slot problems
« on: November 25, 2013, 07:27:51 PM »
The attached job file (Burley boss 500end) shows up an issue when I try to change the arc slot settings. They are currently start -90 and arc 180, but that puts it on the wrong side, I really need start 90, arc 180, but changing the start locks up the program.

In addition, when playing around with settings the second and third attached files (90 and 270) shows what I think is a problem. If I have start 0 and arc 90 it goes from 3 o'clock to 12 o'clock, but with start 0 and arc -90 it should go 90 degrees from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock, but instead it goes from 3 to 6 via 270 degrees.

Thanks.

General Mach Discussion / Key grabber problem
« on: November 25, 2013, 06:22:38 PM »
I've been using the Key Grabber app to interface a Logitech 3 joystick with my mill. All had been working fine, until I somehow lost the config file. I rebuilt it, and reassigned keys etc. I use the small thumb wheel (not sure what it's really called) as the z-axis control, with x and y being the main axes of the joystick.

The problem is that whenever I send z up (or maybe also down-can't remember) a single pulse gets sent to the x axis and it jumps whatever distance a single arrow key push would have sent x. Why is this happening and how do I  stop it?

At first I thought that the key assigned to move x (buttons on the joystick just above the Z controller) was accidentally getting pushed, but I've been really careful to insure that's not the case.

Thanks.

Thanks. Changing the tool table entry to remove the parentheses cleared it up.
