Tweakie that is real nice.

One thing you can try ,is taking a free cut or a cut of .005 if the profile is still not smooth then he as other problems . As for the machine is made of steel it does not matter
deflection is one of the biggest problem of the machinist world .

Hello John

Your setup is very prone to vibration, part is far away from the chuck,tailstock could be shortened.
is the tool at the right height
are the tailstock and the shaft that holds the part center .

If you want you could make that part with a grooving tool.I used to make similar part like yours that where cover with stellite very hard and abrasive cut them with a grooving tool .grooving tool do not bend that much but you must cut the radius last

Hello Hood

You will have to explain more in detail how i can change my screen 4 as i am not to computer literate ,but can follow instructions step by step.

My rpm is really what is shown on the dro if i imput 6000 rpm it goes 6000 rpm  if i imput 300 it goes at 300.

Hello to all

Made a test today when i go to manual screen input g20g95 m04 s2000 x-1f.001it does what i iimput but the display screen still shows in unit/min  not in unit/rev
