Hi,
no, Mach's parallel port will run up to a maximum of 1998mm/min even if the Gcode or MDI calls for faster.

Craig
I was not aware of the printer port having a say in the tools feed rate max?
At a frequency of 25 kHz I would have thought you could tune the motor up to 2400 mm/ min

Hi there,
I’m running a desktop windows 7 32. Bit. Multi core processor, stand-alone video card and printer express port card With a LPT port breakout board.
If wondering if I tell my tool to run at 2000 mm/min and in my ports and pins under motor tuning I have the motors speed set to 1998 mm/ minute will this cause miss-Steps every once and a while?
I use Fusion360 to design and make the tool paths gcode. I bumped up my cutting speed from 1900 to 2000 recently. Im missing steps as much as a deviation in one shot of 10mm
Right when my tool path changes from a 3D Adaptive clearing to a 3D ramping tool path.

Thanks
Glen
