Hi all i have a Mood bridgeport mach conversion up and running . i would like to try to get the tool changer up and running . I need some ideas on parking the spindle . I run a VFD and speed control for the spindle . Will the all singing and dancing Mach 4 be able to help me > I have worked out most of the control but the spindle is giving me trouble any ideas thanks to all Mark Sunny Australia 36 C here today

Hi all I need some ideas for mu moog project . I need to park the spindle at a n exact rotational spot . Maybee adding another  optical index sensor and somehow hooking it to the VDF and doing a jog or something .I am fishing for ideas thanks mark

General Mach Discussion / Help sinking ! Breakout board testing

Hi all I am in need of some help . I have a CNC4PC Parallel port Interface board C1 .I need to test it . I have the 5 volt supplyes and the enable connected .I have a bunch of lights going . Does a light come on when its enabled ? I cant seam to get anything through the board .Is there any easy test ? The machine has been in storage for a while .It did work . it goes from this board to my Rutex 990 boards . I have this so I can run my digi speed 03 without cutting the parallel port cable .( I am old and those ity bitty wires give me the s--ts ) any ideas would be good thanks otpco

what do you guys think of this .I would like to get it right the 1st time if possable bridgeport Moog 4=1 reduction on ballscrew on table servo motor now the problem encoders !! us digital differential type . what resolution ? and can I mount them on the screw rather than on the back of the motor ? greetings to all from downunder
