Hi rabphxaz ,
The answer to the second part of your first question (if you have not heard yet),
is to use the "arcs version" if you want to generate g2 or g3 moves in place of dozens of short tiny g1 moves.
be sure to check the"mach arc inches" or" mach arc mm" whichever you prefer to work in.

Awesome set-up!
Are you cutting parts right in the operating room, or just in a regular hospital room? HeHeHe :D
I envy >:D your ability to keep a tidy shop! Another goal to shoot at, I guess.
Seriously though.. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
Thanks, Glenn

Hi BobbyDon,
Some laptops can run mach, but others aren't stable enough to.
If you can run Mach through a tower you will increase your chances of success greatly!
This is just an easy way to eliminate problems that the new cnc'er  would find hard to detect.
Give us a few more details with your set-up and we will get you sorted. :)
  I use a Dell dimension 4400 tower pentium 4 ,1.6gh/512 Mb/40GB--cost $85.ebay works great.

Try not to get frustrated, the learning curve is steep (very steep for dumb ol' me,but with the forums help even
I can use Mach with success) but the best way to eat an elephant is still one bite at a time! So in a short time, you will
be up and running with a smile on your face

Please describe what Mach does on your computer.
We will help from there.

    Good Luck,  Glenn

Hi Guys,

I've been following this thread forever,  and every few days I try to install this beta for myself and get the
message---" this application has failed to start because Lvkrn15u.dll was not found reinstall may fix this application"---

Please guide me to the thread that explains how to re install this. I can't find it.  :-[

I  am a licensed user of  mach3 on my lathe, and am very anxious to catch up with the rest of you testers!
Looks like fun!

                Thanks ,

                       Glenn

Rich is Right! :)
If you would like to try the tracing  over the top of your imported picture for free,
go to solid edge 2 d free. If you trace with your mouse over the photo (helps to magnify
your picture alot), solid edge will create a dxf file that Lazycam will resize and relayer if need be,then, try mach3 to see it cut out your hand drawn image! The free version does  have a limit on the g- code, but you will get the idea.

I use this system, and it works for what I need

      Good luck, Glenn

Hey Fixittt,
I don't know what the finished product should look like, but from my perspective, I'd say you can still use what is already cut!
   Looks good!
    Glenn :)

How much $ for the new spindle?
