Hi ebc12451,  in mach mill,    under config, - ports and pins,- motor tuning -- enable x,y,z
   see if that helps
  good luck, Glenn :)

Eric,
Welcome to the mach forum!  lots of good help here; but until they arrive, let me ask you a few
questions about your system. ;D
No motion when you jog?.. go to top of mach screen click "config", click"ports and pins",
click "motor outputs"  put a green check mark under enable beside x, y, z, and see if you can jog.
Also, under "ports and pins" check that"port 1" is enabled.
Let's go from there to see if your axis position changes. If not we'll try something else.

  Good luck!
     Glenn

Hi Marwellca,

If you haven't checked already, double check to see if your issue is
mechanical--maybe some play in the nut on your allthread, or even where you attach the nut to the y and z carriage.
Please forgive me if this seems too obvious , but mine is homebrew, and I need to tighten things up every once
in a while to keep the z x and y running true.!
Please tell us more about it's symptoms; can you draw a perfectly round circle in x and y, or is it oblong?
    Glenn :)

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 unable to locate component
« on: December 31, 2008, 02:58:24 PM »
Hi guys,
Here's a message you don't want to see when clicking on
your desktop icon for Mach 3 Mill! :'(

" This application has failed to start because ATL71-DLL was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

My system has been running GREAT but today, not so much...
Has anyone seen this problem or know of a solution before I try to re-install Mach?

      Thanks,
    Glenn

Dave,
Awesome work on the rotory setup,  but also,
great camera-work.  The older I get, the more I appreciate
being able to see what you guys are making!
