CS-Lab / Deckel DMU 60T Index problem

Hello,
I retrofit in Deckel DMU 60T with a CSMIO IP-A and MACH 4 industry. Now I have a problem.
The machine has some linear scale with only one index signal at 10mm befor end of the traversing distance.
Original the machine was using this signal for homing. Then i tryed to use thissignal over a signelconverter rs422 to HTL, but the signal is to fast.the csmio is not recognize this signal.
Now i am thinking to use the index hardware counter from the CSMIO. Is ther a changse to read the counter from mach4? So i can programm an function. I can´t find any function/command discrition in the internet.
Anybody an ideas or some other suggestion?
