Mach4 General Discussion / Can Master - Slave have different Axis screw pitch Settings?

Asking for a Friend he has 2 motors on say the Y axis, Master - Slave and the one Ball Screw has a very slight difference in pitch than the other. Can those be set differently in Mach 3/4?

I keep seeing references to debounce and  noise filter setting in Mach4 but in spite of a lot of searching and reading, where is this all located?   Using an older version of  Mach4 but is it all in a later one?  Using a UC400ETH and trying to setup Homing and Limits.

General Mach Discussion / Thinking of AXBB-E ethernet motion controller

I have a PMDX USB controller now running on Mach4, I love it when I can get it to connect but that is rare. Would like to go with the AXBB-E because its Ethernet and I can still use Mach4 I hope.  Using a Intel NUC now on all my CNC / Laser stuff and its wonderful. Does the AX board just take a standard 6 pin CAT connection?

Mach4 General Discussion / PMDX-416 USB Can't Connect

I am so sick of this PMDX not connecting. I have had it working fine in the past and now when I need it the same old BS can't connect, can not find SmartBOB.

I found a Ethernet to USB adapter that also supplies the power to the 416 board as a USB connection would. Anyone tried that yet or do I just give up and get the Warp9 board I should have purchased the first time? A GRBL board is also an option for using with Mach4.

Ok I have been a member here and a licensed user of Mach3 and Mach4 registered here and on the ArtSoft site forever. So for the past two or three weeks the only way I can get on either site is with Verizon Wireless (cell phone hot spot) OR like I am doing today with "Hide my IP" address?  Exact same computer, exact same browser. ??

Going through hell   with MediaCom and they don't know $hit.  So the question is to the website developer  and host at Artsoft why is my IP address blocked?  No its not on my end, remember when I am using Verizon and Hide my IP  address its fine.  My IP address today should show as a random one from San Francisco CA area.

Here is the fun thing, I can log in from the house computer, but that won't work for the licensing as I need to log in from the actual computer the work software is on to get the PCID or whatever.  Same login from the shop computer... Password not valid???  Its so s l o w from either  location.  All MY OTHER sites are like the speed of light, I even stream my TV over it.

So is ArtSoft not paying its server rent or lease?? Its getting old, all I want is my license transferred to my new computer.

A guy local to me has  a Mini PC  Win 10 Pro 4Gb memory, 64 Gb storage,  with room for ssd. Atom processor? Will this run Mach4 with USB PMDX board? I have the  PMDX board installed in my control box, tested and working on my Mac Book Pro parallels with Win 7.

SmartBOB-Opto USB  PMDX-416 I've got this on order and I am running low on shop computers... could it run on a MacBook Pro with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Parallels of course?  Yes I have valid licenses for Mach4 & Mach3.

Mach4 Plugins / Stupid Vista Plug in, S and V reversed

My Vista M1 Pendent worked fine in Mach3 and Mach4 until I changed the setup  file and screen set to use the CNCRP / Avid setup so I could use their Auto Zero pad.  It all works fine Except the S & V on the Pendent are now reversed. I used the plug in file from the old Mach4 build but same old thing.

Suggestions or clues of where else to look??
