Save your profile e.g mach3mil.xml and your license files  to somewhere?
Uninstall MACH3. Delete everything in c:\mach3
Reboot PC and start again
Download patched Mach3Version3.043.exe from
https://www.machsupport.com/downloads-updates/main-programs/
Turn off antivirus
Go to your download folder, right click on Mach3Version3.043.exe | properties | the click on
[UNBLOCK] the OK
Now Right click on  Mach3Version3.043.exe and select run as administrator.
Install MACH3 including Parallel port driver
When installation is finished, you MUST
REBOOT THE PC immediately (for Mach3 driver to get to Ring 0)
After reboot,
Do the following:-

Go into command prompt with administrator rights COPY and paste each of the below registers.
(Start| all programs| accessories is where to find command prompt is - right click to run as administrator)

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverride /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management" /v FeatureSettingsOverrideMask /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f

Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Now you can do the Drivertest
& start using MACH3
Please ask if you are stuck in any step..

How are you connecting the MACH3 PC to the 3D printer?
Via parallel port or USB or NIC or RS232, motion controller ...?
What OS, Win XP or Win 7?
Which 3D printer? Commercial or home-made?

No one can solve your problem without knowing more about your hardware and software.

General Mach Discussion / Re: unable to ref all home
« on: March 12, 2019, 05:20:22 PM »
Power off the machine (Not the PC), manually turn (crank) the stepper motor so that no switch is active.
Turn machine on
Click on [reset] in MACH3 and try ref all home again.

If it works this time, you must do two things
1. Set your "debounce" to 50 or more - in top right hand corner of settings | general settings page (see attached)
2. implement"soft limits" which is from 0 to say just 0.1 inch before the limit switch at the other end of each axis. Then always leave soft limits on.

General Mach Discussion / Re: All home, precise backward .mm - problem
« on: March 12, 2019, 07:04:24 AM »
Hi, friends
I have a problem with homing.
Usually when I press "ALL HOME", it first go home z axis then X and Y.
When the x axis hits the switch at end of movement, then the ax gets backwards few .mm, and then slowly to hit the switch again (for better precision, I suppose).
My problem is ...sometimes when the axe going back - not going far enough and do not release activated homing switch, and machine stop with message (emergency stop active-endstop)!

- I use the same switch for homing and endstops
So where to control how many steps or .mm axe going back before going to precise hiting the switch?

lp, chris

First try to increase the debounce on top right corner of config | General Config page.
(see attached)
I solved my problem by just increasing denounce settings to 50. Try 50 or even more until your machine is stable.

If using Parallel Ports
There is an INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH expensive 5V PCIe parallel Port Card made by AXXON in Canada.
I ordered hundreds of them to Australia for new PCs controlling PlasmaCAM machines and retrofit many PCs that all over Australia that were having "communications errors" with cheap parallel port cards.
Model I use is:
http://axxon.io/lf1102kb/
Spec.
PCI Express Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 expansion slot compatible (x1, x2, x4, x8, x16 lane)
SPP / PS2 / Bi-directional / ECP mode compliant interface with 5 volt level shifting
Dual 15kV+ ESD protected DB25 Female connector
4th Generation design engineered and recommended for Plasmacam products
Low or Full Height mounting bracket design (both brackets included)
Supported on Windows & Linux (32 & 64 bit), VMWare, Novell and DOS
RoHS, Pb-free and Conflict of Minerals compliant
5 years unconditional warranty.

That Axxon Card is protected against up to 15,000volts spike and ESD.

According to PlamaCAM the parallel port is better than USB or Ethernet for INDUSTRIAL use.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Spindle control - db25

Each pin of DB25 can take max. of 2A and Max. of 250V
It is the wire used that may be limiting

General Mach Discussion / Re: KX1 spindle direction problem
« on: March 11, 2019, 03:49:58 AM »
FYI
Forum Member kf2qd set his KX3 this way:

Spindle Axis - Enabled - Green Check, Step Pin# - 14, Dir Pin# -16, Dir LowActive - Red X, Step Low Active - Green Check, Step Port - 1, Dir Port - 1

Under the Spindle Setup tab -
Under Motor control there is a check in the Use Spindle Motor Output  and Step/Dir Motor, PWM Base Freq is 5 and minimum PWM is 0.
Under General Parameters all are 1.

Then why not try to tick (DIRlowactive) to pin 16  (output to spindle dir) and see what happens.

More correct information:
Mach3 on Win7 32 bit BUT 64 bit processor should be PERFECTLY FINE

Mach3 on Win8.x or Win10  32 bit will not work not because of x64 processor but because Win 8.1 32bits and win 10 32bits no longer permit any program running in "RING 0 kennel mode".

Mach 3 pulsing engine + driver must run in "RING 0 kennel mode" and the last OS to allow that is Window s 7 32bits (on either 32bits or x64 processors).

The MACH3 driver will have a small question mark because Win7 is suspicious that it is a "root kit virus" since the driver is not signed and so not approved by Microsoft.
ALL 64bits OS must have signed drivers. That is why MACH3 parallel port pulsing engine cannot be made to run on 64bits OS.

General Mach Discussion / Re: mach3 problem steppers wont move
« on: March 10, 2019, 09:57:52 PM »
Perfectly normal.
You need to click on [RESET] in Mach3 to start working.
First let us know what happens when you click on [RESET] in Mach3.
By the way do you have limit/home switches wired up (yet)?
Is jumper 3 actually in the  2-3 position and NOT in the 1-2 position as in your uploaded picture?
If jumper 3 is in 2-3 position, you will need to enable pin 1 in Mach3.
correction
If jumper 3 is in 2-3 position, you will need to enable pin 14 in Mach3.
