General Mach Discussion / Harbor Freight Mini Mill Relay Spindle Motor

I am sure this has been done but wondering if any of you guys could tell me if i were to put a relay in series with the DC Motor would MACH3 turn the relay off and on. I assume its a 5 V from MACH3.
Has anyone tried this with a X2 Mill?

General Mach Discussion / Having Issues With MACH3 and new Mill

I had tried out MACH3 when I installed it and all motors turned with the arrow keys no issues. I just completed my X and Y axis yesterday and they seem to work as well. So then I tried to install the Joypad plugin and when I tried to turn the motors MACH3 looked like it went to run a program and now when I click an arrow key it moves one step and stops.. like its in jog mode but I am new to MACh so not sure where to look for this...

Also is there any tricks to getting the Joypad to work..
