Thanks Craig and thanks everyone.  I will upgrade to Mach IV.  That should do it for this thread.

Thanks everyone for responding.  Looks like I will have to fool around with it to see if I can find a solution.  BTW,
how can I acquire the latest version of Mach III? This may have been a bug with the current licensed version I am now using.

Thanks, I see.  What can I do to correct the problem?  Is there a bug in the program?  Seems to me that it should find all the info it needs "running" through the program to the restart point which is what I think it should be doing.....

General Mach Discussion / MACH III "Run from Here" not working correctly

Hello Forum,
I am running MACH III v.R3.043.066.  The software version works fine except when I have to interrupt the program.  When I select "start from here", the program resets itself and starts the spindle but then just sits there.  No X-Y movement.
Can anyone help me with finding a fix?
Thanks all!

General Mach Discussion / Simulation Mode
« on: March 09, 2017, 09:03:29 PM »
Hello,
I am running the Mach3 demo version I just downloaded from the Artsoft website (version R3.043.066) to check it out before purchase.  I understand that the 500 line g-code limitation may be disabled if in "simulation" mode.  I don't know how to set Mach3 for simulation mode.  I read through various threads and it is probably out there somewhere but I didn't run across it.  I looked in the Mach3 configuration tab and under general config, but didn't see anything related to "no device", "off-line," etc.
Can one of you seasoned Mach3 users please give me some direction on how to run Mach3 in the simulation mode for evaluation of longer g-code files?
Thanks much!
