Can anyone help me. I slaved my a to the y axis but the motor s are not syn exactly the same. I increased the the denounce , I lowered my acceleration it seamed to help but not completely. I am using mach3.

General Mach Discussion / Touch plate problems and accuracy

Hi all. I need some help. I have 2 touch plates. 1 corner finder which works great and 1 fixed touch plate. The fixed touch plate, the tool rapids down and hits the plate, stops but does not retract to slowly come Dow for a second touch off. I have to reset mach3 and manually retract it. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas what is happening as the corner finder works as it should. 
The other issue I am having is my machine measures correctly near the home switches but but no where else.

Hi all. I am having trouble milling a hole. I have my cad gcode cutting a 1 inch diameter hole but it keeps turning out under size. I mic Ed my bit and put that in my tool size and my axis are all set to .Ooo5 accuracy. What is my problem. Or why.

Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me why my machine has random estops, when i reset my dro s move but my axis don't. I just had my whole complete system rewired, a new c11 board and all the fixens. Can anyone make any sugestions PLEASE I NEED HELP.

how do i write a script so my cnc router goes to the same position every time for a tool change and tool zero.              my machine has a cutting area of 28"x65" and i would like it to change at X20 Y60.

General Mach Discussion / Double cuts

I wrote a gcode to do some.5 dia holes and some.25dia. When mach3 cuts 1 hole out it does it again for no reason. I checked my card and it say it does 6 passes per hole where mach3 is doing 12. Why do I have something set wrong. Another thing it is doing is not cutting the holes out to the proper dia they are about .013 undersized. I checked all my axis for Cal and set my back lash but it's still there.

Hi all. I am new to the cnc but my limit switch keeps tripping every 10 seconds approximately.  Even though no axis is even need the limit switches. So I go to the diagnostic screen and nothing is lit up. I then go to con fig /pots&pins/input and start x ing the limits until I stop getting the limit warning. It seems to be in the y axis and I don't know why I am getting this all of a sudden for no reason. Can anyone help me I'm out of ideas.

My home got hit by lightning so I had to buy a new computer. I got everything off my hard drive. The only screen  that will not come up is motor tuning. What can I do?

Hi all, I need help. My cnc when I hit the go to Z button the machine is moving to zero DRO in all axis in  the work coordinates not the machine coords. Why? The axis are not hitting the home switches at all. Is there something I am missing? In the General config I have the home switches checked but does nothing, does anyone have any sujestions

Hi I need help.  I get mach3 working on my z axis limit switch so it doesn't kick off on a false limit switch tripping I save the settings but when I save in gen. It doesn't save and when I reopen mach3 it goes back to the old setting. What am I doing wrong.  Please help...
