Mach Screens / Re: Test Inputs

Dammit!!! Windows7 64Bit! Is the button emulation the only thing that is not gonna work? How about Mach3 itself...any issues with 64bit? Any workaround? The driver test failed!
Now I am worried!

Hmmmm....I did get a parallel port error when I installed...blew it off because I thought it was because there was nothing hooked to it...will check it out, maybe the address for the port is wrong...

Thanks...

Have done all of the simulating so far with my laptop...got my parallel equipped desktop today...transferred all of the Mach 3 stuff over...somehow I broke the keyboard homing and limit switch emulation?!? When I go to the diagnostic screen, and press the key that emulates the switch, Z, for example, is the Z axis limit switch emulation, it shows green when I press the key, but if I try to home the z axis, the "z" key will not stop it?!? I have checked all of the settings, and I copied the xml file to the new install, so everything should be the same, don't know what I am missing?

Thanks

General Mach Discussion / Re: VBScript to button or macro

Had to reboot for other reasons...now it is working...I guess a vb script IS a macro?!? Maybe not, maybe they are interchangeable...anyway it is working and I am happy!

General Mach Discussion / VBScript to button or macro
« on: January 05, 2016, 07:20:05 PM »
I have a VBScript to run a touchprobe routine. IT works as expected...I would like to run this from a button on the xbox controller...I am struggling...I saved the vbscript as a macro (didnt really think that would work), and assigned the number (700) to the macro 1 button, it did not work...wondering how to go about this?

Can you run script from a hot key? can I call a hotkey from the xbox conttoller? Can I assign a macro to call the vbscrpt? Then I would run the macro from the controller

Thanks

This Xbox controller is way cool! Looked at just the first and last of these pages so if this is answered already sorry...

I have a VBscript that runs a touch probe...how can I make one of the buttons on the XBox controller run this code? Can I assign a macro to call it? Can not see that the VBScript actually has a name (just attached to a button)??

I would really like to run the touch probe from the XBox controller

Thanks
Leslie

Same error, but just before commiting hari-kari, I saw that the button function was set for G-Code...changed it to "Execute basic script" and all is well!

Thanks again
