Anyone know if it’s safe to use the ones that have been removed or do I have to back step?

Mach4 General Discussion / Where did 3468 and 3474 go to

They wher both on the public dl page and 3468 is referred to in the release notes but they seem to have been replaced by an earlier version

As the where on the download page are they ok to use or do we have to revert?

If they have a problem then why not put a note up to that effect

Just to be sure we are singing from the same hymn sheet I am not referring to the ones one the ftp site

if you are using Fusion 360

then the latest PP fixes it
and the latest mach4 release sorts it

type in Mach4 into the search box

Thanks Steve for the clarification that’s why I phrased it as I believe

As Craig as said

The main lic difference is that if you use it to make money you are expected to get the industrial

I also believe that it will support macro b and a couple gcode call that hobby does not.

It will also support arguments in sub routines

Note I do run hobby as I am am a hobbies guy but I have many mods to m6 and the screen is altered from stock a few more buttons to aid my use plus a lot of redundant stuff removed to tidy it up and the last the background colour muted from its over bright look

My 2 cents

When you load mach3 in this case or mach4 to a PC that then it becomes a machine controller and should be treated as such, has as been said no other software should be run not even the file manager

Mine is striped out and has no means of getting on the Internet and nothing else is installed except mach4 for me
No longer do I see it as a pc but the mills controller

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: KX3 and Mach4 compatability
« on: June 03, 2017, 02:31:24 AM »
The leafboy controller will not support mach4 it will only support mach3 and probing is suspect  >:D

Yes you can replace the controller with a ESS and c25 plus a few relays to keep it safe ( the spindle on my Kx1 ) wanted to start on switch on )

My Kx1 runs fine on mach4 much smoother than before

Note the USB from smoothe stepper at this time is only mach3

The only problem is the knitting do not trust the tags on the cables and they are all the same colour

Download the manual for your controller from leafboy it will tell you what cable is what note you have 9 limits to contend with

Sorry I cannot help with the relays as you system is slightly different from mine but it's the signal that control the spindle direction one inhibits the spindle until mach4 is fully in control the other helps with CW/CCW.

If you go with these parts note the port two on the c25 the inputs are inverted
