Hang on are you sure that a mach4 fully compatible card

All I can find is refs to mach3

I am sure there are threads on here about it being a problem card

But I may be wrong about this

Did you save the profile file from the help drop down ( package up profile)

If you did just reinstall that it should work fine

This is of course this presumes you followed the manual and copied the stock one and gave it a new name eg your name the same with the screen set

Now I am old school don’t trust these new tangled computer me bobs , I have a spread sheet that prints out the settings in Mach but with blank entries the out with the biro and copy my working setting to that, then if you have a pc crash it’s a simple job to copy it back in

The manual also has the equation to work out your steps

Just penny’s worth

Did you set the native units before you did the motor cal/setting

You need to do it in that order

Did you do the calculations as set out in the user manual for metric

Caveat emptor   From my experience when I change any motor setting apply the ok I always shut down mach4 and restart , it did a funny once so I make sure

Ask on the fusion forum for problems with fusion 360 , it’s not a mach4 one

Why no look into using a arduino to generat the movement , the code could be triggered from an output from mach4

Have a look at nyccnc YT Chanel he as some examples of usining a arduino to drive a clear path servo

Just a rambling of a old git

Thanks for the expansion Chad

I have difficulty in long explanations , I know what to do but my dyslexia plays up and I cannot get it down , paper and pencil is impossible

Where are you setting the WCS in fusion 360 setup in cam , that’s where you set the WCS on the mill

Usually the corner of the stock

The g28 in the code you do not like is easy to get rid of when you post out in fusion360 drop down the prefs and untick the use g28 box

Bet you had a corrupt install and the update fixed it up

Glad you have it sorted

It’s a bit difficult to phrase any licence questions without inferring that you have not got it licence
