Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Mach 4 toolpath not smooth in screen

further to Steve's comment

new pc ? I will bet a £ to a pinch of Salt that the new PC has integrated graphics , not a proper GPU

I had the same problem with a Dell opitplex SFF I got a GPU that fitted into the PCI slot and result smooth graphics

I think you have a error in setup , first how is the switch wired normal open or normal closed.
it should be normal closed if it is you need to change the active state in the ESS pin state for Z limit

but test it manually before relying on it to be safe

you need to edit the actual post file in fusion 360. look at the pic you posted see the little pencil icon at the end of the mach4mill line click that and make the changes there

best go to the fusion 360 forums and ask there what to alter and where

I use fusion 360 for my cad/cam and in the tool library the settings for the tool gives you the tooth load ,derived from the rpm no. teeth and feed

note if you did not know its free for hobbyists ( you have to renew each year )

sorry if this is of no help

is this still available? if not why is it depicted as an advert

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Lua script problems
« on: November 04, 2022, 08:39:58 AM »
many years ago before the WWW and internet was thought about, I built a computer based on a Zilog z80 from scratch , the only was to get help was by post to the club HQ all I got back was a note "read the programming manual supplied "( note this was machine code pre dating assembler ) I thought what the heck and did read the manual and learnt how to program .
there is a LUA manual supplied with Mach 4 I would advise you to read it then read it again it will help you to sort it out
