Has anyone made autotool touch off work on these new screens? I would like to know if I should keep trying or wait for the next release.

What is your incremental jog step size set at?

Not sure where I find the "incremental jog step size". Is it this table? If it is which one?

The only other place I know that controls the speed of the axis movement is on the motor set up tab. You can slow it down with the jog % slider on the screen set.

The new version of mach4 (Mach4 mill screen set) cause the center wheel on the Shuttle Pro plug in to move at a very rapid rate. Is there any way to control this? The previous version of Mach (2580) had this moving at a very slow rate. I would use the outer wheel to get close and then the center wheel to fine tune. I have tried:

 

• changing the rapid rate slider
  
• Using the old shuttlepro plug in from 2580
  
• While in the shuttlepro programing mode moving the center wheel (this does not bring up the programming window for a button)

Tried entering G31 into the setup box. Nothing happened...   thoughts?

I have tried. Not sure what the Gcode setting is for. I typed in 31 thinking that a G31 probe is what is called for. Any thoughts or a screen shot of a sample set up would be appreciated.

Maybe I am just being dense  but I can't seem to get the probing to work on the new Mach 4. I can get a G31 command entered into the MDI to work. It moves down and when I ground the probe it stops. Thoughts about what I am doing wrong. I would love to get the auto tool touch off working.

its all stored in a module there`s instruction in the screen

Perhaps I am being dense today. I looked under the button, in wizards, on all screens, and can not find it. Where is the code to do probing? I am running simulation mode if that makes a difference.

I saw the instructions and was able to install the screenset successfully; however, I am not sure how to activate an Auto tool Zero session using this screenset. The Screen set I was using supported G31 via SmartBob. I am able to type a G31 command into the MDI and have the Z axis move / stop moving when I touch the plate to the bit. What I expected and did not see in the Probe screen set was a script behind the "Auto Tool Zero" button.

Thoughts?

Ok - downloaded it. How do I make it work?
