Another question, when jogging the Z axis the arrow key on the pc keyboard is opposite How can I change this? The X is correct. The Z is correct with regards to +/- + is towards the chuck.

Hi
I just started up my home made slant bed lathe and was programming using the wizard. I put in the numbers and was posting the code and got up a warning: ...FilletRadius is too big...
The filling radius was +0.000
I tried to change the values but it did not go away. I also re-started Mach3 but warning is still there.

Thanks a lot Tweakie.
How do I go about if I put in a new PC? What about the license?
I use the Mach3 as a 3D printer. Will it work with Mach4 as well. The only thing I have done is to use the A axis to run the extruder motor, I think.

General Mach Discussion / SmoothStepper USB and Mach3
« on: August 26, 2015, 02:10:40 PM »
Hi I have Mach3 version 3.043.066 that has ruined ok for a long time but I have suffered some crash or just freeze  in the middle of the job. I found that SmoothStepper USB could help avoiding this problem so I got me one. I read that I needed Mach3 version 3.043.062 in order to avoid problems. I have installed the SmoothStepper on Mach3 3.043.066 and have problem with homing and limit switch on the Z axis. In Diagnostic window all limits and home switches is working ok.

Reading at SmoothStepper forum I found that my Mach3 version could be the problem. Than my question is? Do I have to uninstall the Mach3 and reinstall the older version afterwards? What about the license?
Thank you
Gaute

PS I use the Mach3 on a combined 3D printer/router.

Thanks Hood
I figured the problem was the printer port. I put in a new cable and than the problem was fixed.

General Mach Discussion / Can not get A axis to run
« on: January 21, 2015, 02:35:25 PM »
Hi
I´m using A axis to run 3D extruder head but can not get A axis to run. I tried to use A axis as the Y axis slave but never got it to run so I used B axis as the slave sucessfully. I recon it was the break out board so I replaced it with a HG08 from cnc4you. In the diagnostic screen pin 7 from top from right is green but for A axis it is pin 8 and 9 that is used. Are there any special settings for the A axis that I have missed?
I have runned Mach3 successfully as a router so I´m familiar with the settings. I have checked the cable and all the pins are ok. Could it be the computer port?
Hope someone has an idea.
Thank you
Gaute
