General Mach Discussion / Mach3 turn
« on: March 26, 2017, 07:41:29 AM »
Hi
Anyone that can helpe me with this set of codes?
Im going to turn a collet that I draw in Fusion360 posted from there.
When I simulate it in Fusion360 COM it seems to be perfect but after a few cut the x axis just go into the steel and cut it right down with big blue chip.
I´m not sure which line it happen as I just hit the emergency stop.
I have run the CNC late with just simple G codes not generated G codes from fusion before.

General Mach Discussion / Homing
« on: March 22, 2017, 04:01:16 AM »
Hi
I'm working on job on the CNC router that will take about 8 hours. I have only a couple of hours available now and then.
I stop the machine and note down the line number, than put the machines three axis in 0 by G0 X0 Y0 Z0, shut off the PC and the control. When I start up again I just verify that the machines axis are all in 0 than load the program, find the correct line and hit Run From Here.
This works perfectly.

Normally when I start up I home the machine, then 0 the axis on the stock.

My question is; can I always just leave the machine in 0 (PC and control off) and start up again without homing just 0 the axis?

General Mach Discussion / Re: Router stopped less than midways

Hi
All my motor cable was screened but the screen was not earthed. I have now terminated them to earth and run the router for some hours without tripping. I have also used run from here several times with perfect result.
Thanks a lot Craig

Hi,
Thanks a lot. Will try and isolate or eliminate the noise source.

Will try some run from here in the air first.

General Mach Discussion / Router stopped less than midways
« on: March 12, 2017, 08:59:30 AM »
Hi
I was cutting with my cnc router and Mach3 for about one houre than it stopped besause a limit witch triggered, non of the switches was triggerd. I belive the program is app 3000 lines and I had just over 1000 lines done.
This limit switch triggerd for no reason I know about, it has happend ones before. When I reset it seems to be ok.
I it possible to restart the process at line 1000? I shut the PC and control off but I know exactly where 0 are on all the three axis. Or can I just delete 900 lines, of cause leave the start up lines and start from there?
Hope someone can give me some advises :)

General Mach Discussion / Re: How do I home the ATC
« on: February 26, 2017, 02:25:06 AM »
Thank you Tweakie
Will this work?
'ATC Home

Code("M7")         'Unlock tool changer turret
Sleep(1000)               'Wait to unlock

SingleVerify(3)         'Home A axis, 3 = A axis

Sleep(20000)         'Wait for some time

Code("M9")       'Lock tool changer turret
Sleep(1000)               'Allow to lock

Then I put it into the macro folder, but how do I assigne a G code or buttom?
