General Mach Discussion / Mach3 Turn X axis problems
« on: January 01, 2021, 05:13:37 AM »
Happy New Year.
I have a home brewed slant bed late running with Mach3 Turn ver 066
Have an 8 tool ATC with tools set in the tool table according to the Mach3 Turn manual. Works perfect.
Running a program generated from Fusion 360 with post-prosesser Generic Mach3 Turning, first run works perfect.
Has removed G28 home but end program with G30.
Second run Z axis is ok but X axis in minus.
After running the program in air when completed
1st run Machine coordinates X-30.5, Z 0
1st run Program coordinates X+10,5 Z-22.57
2nd run MC X 0, Z 0
2nd run PC +71.53, Z-22,57
The same happen when running second run on a program generated from the Mach3 Turn wizard.
First run always perfect but second run always become a disaster.
I have checked end rechecked all setting but there are something wrong.
I have calculated the X to require 3,4 Nm with a SF of 1.5, which is direct driven by a tema 34 stepper motor with holding torque of 4,4 Nm. The X axis seems to work well, but it’s where the problem is.
Any suggestions?
