I've noticed with this version that a number of properties are missing for tabs:

Text Color
Text Active Color
Tab Color
Tab Active Color

These no longer appear in the screen editor, nor do existing settings for them work. All were present and functional in 2872. I rather liked being able to set the Tab Active Color, and wondered whether the omission was intentional.

If concerned about Windows 10 updates, you can always try disabling the Windows Update service..

CS-Lab / Re: CSMIO I/O both Sink and Source

Yes, as the CSMIO inputs are fully isolated, you may use an independent power supply for any or all of these, providing you do not exceed the 30V maximum limit.

The same applies to the CSMIO outputs: each group of 4 outputs may have its own independent supply if required. As an example, I use one group of outputs to drive a VFD for the spindle, and I use a 24V supply from the VFD for this group, thereby maintaining optical isolation between the CSMIO and the VFD. The other groups use the normal CSMIO supply.

Your eStop wiring is fine.

Try going into the screen editor, click on the program run tab to display that tab for editing, and with this on show exit the screen editor.  I think this will solve your problem.

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Mach 4 licence not instaling
« on: September 12, 2015, 07:57:40 AM »
I have Mach4 2686 running and successfully licensed on my Win7 32 bit office computer.

I have wondered whether there would be any benefit in moving to 64 bit operation, so have installed Win8.1 64 bit on a second drive on the same machine. I wanted to see if Mach4 still ran successfully so installed it on the 64 bit OS.

To my surprise, the PC Id was totally different to that for the 32 bit OS, despite it being on the same machine, so my existing Mach4 licence was invalid. Is this the intended behaviour, or should the Id be machine specific and therefore the same for both OS?

I hope that with all the licensing issues of late Artsoft do not unduly limit the number of inactive licences we can have.
