Should I " refrence all home " every time I start my mill?

Once my mill completes the refrence all home it automatically rezeros all the axis. I understand that's the machine coordinates 0,0,0

Also known as g53???

Does the program save this when I shut it down or should I redo the home reference next time I start the mill?

Modbus / Who can I call to help me setup this automation direct vfd

I have been trying and I just can't figure it out
Who can I call to help me set this spindle control tru modbus?

I have a automation direct gs2 vfd.
I also have the USB to 485 from automation direct.

I looked at Most of the post on the internet but no just can't get it.

Installing the drivers / plug ins was easy to.
Great product

Will it work with mach4 ?

Modbus / Can't open serial port

No matter what I try Mach 3 says serial port not open

Trying again to connect my automation direct vfd to Mach 3 for modbus control

I was thing about getting the homan design mod i/o but i also want to control my VFD via modbus.

General Mach Discussion / encoder resolution with stock powertron servos

I have the stock Bridgeport dc servos on my machine.

The stock encoders were 250 ppr

my new ones have are adjustable up to 2000 ppr.

Is there a setting that works best with the older Bridgeport dc servos?

Is  there a setting that works best for Mach 3

It says that 3 will be discontinued?
