General Mach Discussion / Motor running screen won’t open?.

Just transferred my mach3 folder from my old computer to new one.

New computer is and intel Nuc I5 with win 11 pro.

All the other screens open but when I click on motor tuning nothing happens

And machine runs fine.

I’m stumped and rather not install Mach 3 again

If I want to engrave two words how do I control the spacing between the words?

In its current configuration spacing controls the gap between the letters.

The space between the word is huge and I don’t see a setting for that.

Or do I just have to engrave each word separately ?

General Mach Discussion / Jogging direction

I having brain fade! The table direction is confusing me.

On my Bridgeport style mill. We’re the table moves.

When I press the  X+ jog button which way does the vice on my table move? Mine moves to the left.

When I press the y+ jog button my vise moves out towards me. Is this correct?

I see that fusion 360 has several post processors listed what is the difference between them and which on should I use.

1: Artsoft
or
2: tormach. ( mach3 not pathpilot)

If i want to add a 4th (A axis)  axis to my mach 3 which one should i use.

Show"N"Tell ( Your Machines) / Boxford Duet desktop CNC

Acquired two Boxford Duet desktop cnc machines in an auction.
The software that came with them is DOS based and i would like to update them. Luckily the manuals i got have the schematics.
I also would like to use the existing electronics if possible.
The DB25 pin-out shows the pin numbers and functions but there are a few I'm unsure about.

Has Anyone convertered one of thes yet to Mach 3/4? There are some old post but the are incomplete.
