Hood you are right,  my post processor currently stops for a manual tool change with M00 and not M6 T# - I'll try adding that and see if that helps. -thanks

BTW I'm using an HG07 breakout board - http://cnc4you.co.uk/resources/Breakout%20board%20HG07.PDF

Thanks for the reply Hood,  but I already have that option set.

I'm trying to resolve a little annoyance I have with my manual tool changing.  Basically Mach3 stops for a tool change using the code below,  but before I can move the Z axis up (if I have a long tool in the spindle) I have to press either stop or feed hold.  I would have thought after the M01 command runs I would be able to manually jog if needed.  Im wondering if this could be replaced with M2 but not sure if that would cause any side effects.   Whilst it stops for M01 I notice that the elapsed time carries on increasing.

( Manual change Tool )
M05
G00 Z20.000 X0.000 Y0.000
M01
( Insert End Mill {4.76 mm} and set new zero )
( press CYCLE START )
G00 Z20.000
M03 S14000

Finished Plugins for Download / Re: A new Huanyang VFD plugin
« on: March 28, 2014, 06:06:31 AM »
Hey,  just wanted to say thanks for the plugin.

I purchased the VFD Model HY02D223B from cnc4you.co.uk and this USB adapter -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331099811041&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123

and although I needed to load the CH340 driver not the prolific one everything just worked.

I've even kept the old relay control that used to run my router to start and stop the water cooling pump for the spindle.

I've not had any noise issues yet,  but my stepper motors all have ferrite clips,  and when they arrive I'll be adding some more to the VFD/Spindle and the cable between the PC and the VFD just in case.

Just for info,  I'm running this on XP with a 1.8ghz CPU and 512mb ram.   The Mach3 is the current version 3.043.062 and I just followed your excellent instructions.
