I am building a two Axis gyro and want to run it with a joystick using Mach 4. I Need a way to record that motion, and Save/Replay that motion. I am willing to pay someone to have/help getting this done. Thanks

Hello, I am building a servo controlled gyro and would like to be able the use a two Axis joystick to control it using mach 4. I need it to work in a velocity type of fashion, where the more you move the joystick, that faster it goes.
I would also like to have a teach function like mach 3 had. So basically, I need to control motion with a  joystick and be able to replay the motion back. I will put the teach function on another post though. I am willing to pay someone to help with this. Thanks

Mach4 General Discussion / Touch ui screen load size
« on: January 18, 2017, 03:21:16 PM »
Hoping a brother can help me out on this. When I load the touch UI, the size is too small and you cant see all of the icons. Every time i use it, i have to resize it larger. I use a touch screen so this is kind of a pain. Just throwing this out there but the only thing the touch module is missing is a fast find feedrate followed by the measure feedrate. Other than that, it is the bomb! ;D

Mach4 General Discussion / Mist (M07) stays on if the program is stopped
« on: December 05, 2016, 12:16:27 PM »
It is not a big deal to go into the run ops tab and turn it off after the stop button is pushed, but it does get annoying. Mach 3 did not do this and i know of several others who are bugged by this feature. Is there any way i can make the mist turn off with the stop button?

HiCON Motion Controller / Hicon, mach 4 and digital touch probe.
« on: November 25, 2016, 11:54:05 PM »
Hello Marc, I experimented with a digital touch probe on my mill and to make a long story short, it doesn't exist any more as it is smashed to 1/3 of its original height. I wrote a lengthy post on the mach 4 forum explaining the details. The only answer I got was that the probing is controlled by the motion controller. Two questions, is there any published literature on the correct procedure for setting up a probe and is the hicon board set up to do it. Thanks

Mach4 General Discussion / *** PROBING SCREEN ? ***
« on: November 24, 2016, 01:15:24 PM »
??? Has anyone successfully used a probe with the probing screen. It would be a really nice feature if it worked but i have a smashed probe that makes me think it is not ready for use. Is there a manual or any literature available for mach 4 probing?  Thanks
