So is there a setting somewhere that controls file size?

22
X = 5.5 in. Y = 2.75 in. Z height .9 in. Z 0, X step .05 Y step .05 step speed 25 in min. It equals around 18k lines. When I start it. It allows me to save to a file name, if I change the step spacing to .04 is jumps to 28k lines and will not allow me to save to a file name, just starts the machine.

They Mach3 software license. It said it would open it to unlimited coding. When I first got it, I could run the digitizer at .025 steps, some 70k lines of code. Now the smallest I can do is .05 steps. The digitizer wizard comes installed in Mach3. If I would of known I would have to buy another license for another app I wouldn't of made the purchase. I can't keep buying licenses I'm not going to use.

I bought the license last year, now today it won't let me write over 20k lines in the digitize wizard. Are licenses timed? Do I have to purchase yearly?

Mach3 and G-Rex / Mach 3 not running digitize app correctly
« on: June 25, 2015, 08:00:06 PM »
When I try and run it is not asking me to save to file, and has an all red surface in the view box. Usually I see a yellow lines build in as each pass is done. Set up on it is x=4", y=2.75", z height .875. step over .025. feed 20. I also tried .03 step over with same result. I have full version(licensed) on a win7 machine. Any clues as to why this is happening?

OK got my machine running. Now cant figure out how to safe a file I can open in bobcad that will see the point cloud. I attached a file using the dig wizard. I think it was just the NC code it generated to scan the surface.

WHICH Dig Wizard are you trying to run ??  ONE is broken and will not run in Mach3 anymore.

(;-) TP
When I go to wizards, it is listed on the bottom. the top one is 4 axis. Do I need to find another software, or plug in for mach?

I tried setting z-- to 11, dig trig to 11, probe to 11. setting active low. Im still not getting it to work. This is the board im using,http://www.probotix.com/manuals/PBX-RF_manual.pdf. The probe is a closed circuit. When I turn off power to the board the diag. screen lights the digitize light and M3limit. When power is on, the screen looks like previous post, with the 6th light out and it lights when I trip the probe by hand. Any one got any more insight? Im really needing this to work. Sorry for being a bug about this.
