Im trying to get my shuttle pro to change the direction of the bed, so when I turn the centre wheel anti clockwise the bed goes to the left. At moment it goes to the right when the wheel is turned to the left.

Hi Guys

I posted a question about my video/webcam but no replies so Question is if I upgrade my mach from R3.042.040 to the ltest Lockdown version is it ok just to install over my current mach install OR do i have to hack out the install as is and reinstall but Ihope just copy my xml file first?? HELP

Hi guys

just got a camera from Arnie - no drivers with this just using the one in windows xp the camera worked no problems, but  in mach when I select the video screen the camera gets warm the screen is not good pixelated and then locks up.  I tried centrecam using the same drivers and the same camera! which runs cooler in this software,  and does not freeze up.   So I assume its something within mach, I am running version R3.042.040.
now if i download the latest mach (lockdown version) and just install it over my current configuration will that be fine or do I have to uninstall my current mach setup (Hurr not what id look forward to) I have found another plug in from Karl http://www.kd-dietz.com/klausphp/index_eng.html# but don't want to just install a load of stuff if the main cause is elsewhere..

General Mach Discussion / 4th axis problem

Hello

I have set up my 4th axis mechanically and all seems well BUT I have output gcode from a cad / cam system profiling the shape of a propeller cone. in the z axis there is one profile and all the rest are on top of this profile there is no 3d view I have ran it off line and the A axis is rotating but the 3d profile is not there. I have rebuilt my systems over the last year and the last time I out put this code it worked. Is there a setting in mach I should be aware of.. Any help appreciated.

Hood thanks for that sorry for delay I tried what you said although the machine is not connected (away being worked on) but the two line you said were all on one line
hope this sorts it will tell by week end as machine comes back

sorry for taking so long been away- looked for that file and found it, not sure how to upload it but will try. I copied the file before zipping and had a look via notepad, now I know you should may not be  doing  this, I dont know how you look at these files officially?  but it has not alot in this that I can see. your thoughts.

Can anyone tell me the meaning of the message on mach screen in status ?? it is saying scripter Compile Error in Spindle Speed.mis

if anyone can enlighten me it would be good. I took delivery of my mill which has been modified with belt drives and ball screws when I run the spindle this error is being shown I am new to spindle control via mach and such lost HELP

sorry for not responding I do not have a wiring diagram I purchased the control box already put together.. I disconnected one of the the e-stop (I have two) and it cured the debounce problem set it back to 3000 and at moment all ok.

Tweakie sorry for the  newb question BUT the filter's you said put between each input terminal I am using for my  my switches (grnd or 0 volts) do you mean the drives for the motors if not where exactly are we talking about in Lay mens terms.
