I have a servo motor with 1000 line encoder and a 20 teeth pulley on the shaft connected to a chuck with a 5mm pitch belt and a 60 teeth pulley that rotates to a ratio 3:1
my question is what are the settings in mach 3?

General Mach Discussion / I need to set up Coordinate system

I need to set up coordinate system my machine has three limits switches     the limits switches are on   negative X,  negative Y, positive Z,  this machine  measure  X500, Y500, Z200, How can I change the number of the coordinate system to ZERO? on the main screen, the numbers that I can see when I click Machine Coor`s are really big 9.000 plus on all axis and I can not see the objet on display mode.
How I can  set this up properly?

General Mach Discussion / suppose to make around cut but is cutting an oval

Hi my name is Ivan and I tried for first time a small Gcode, it is a  small gear I have done it with a pen on a paper but instead a round gear the result was a oval gear.
I would like to know why.
