Hi

I found this on You tube  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJEzz6NBHSc

It explained how to setup the speed control in Mach 3 with the Huanyang Inverter.

Using the 0-10 v from mach3 BOB.(labeled Spindel control output at BOB)
Connect - (minus) to ACM
Connect + (10v)  to VI
Lower row of terminals.
Jumper on VI at the Inverter

Start stop of spindle.
Cable from DCM and FOR connected to spindle\switch at BOB

My spindle settings in Mach. Motor Outputs
Spindle= V
Step pin=1
Dir pin= 0
Dir Low=X
Step Low=V
Step port=1
Dir port=1

Spindle Setup.

Pulley Ratio no1   0-24000 rpm

Motor Control

Check : use spindle motor Output and PWM Control

Hope this can help someone else to, it made my day complete.....

Using a breakoutboard from Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1pcs-5-Axis-CNC-Breakout-Board-For-Stepper-Driver-Controller-mach3-/201414938686?hash=item2ee544103e:g:GTkAAOxyBjBTWMPR
And a Huanyang 2.2kw VFD.

everything exept the speed Control of the spindle works.
I can start\stop it from Mach3

the BOB regulates the 0-10 volt via mach, but cant get the VFD to regulate

Anyone have done this before and know how to do this

Thanks

Hi guys, and thanks for helping.
It looks like i figured it out.
I reduced the stepping from full to half, and tried again.
This time it was ok.

Here is a picture of the problem.
i tried to change the stepover, but dint do anything.
Could it be a motor tuning issue.

Have a strange problem with Mach3

For every pass i makes it offsets the cutting patern with 0.5mm ??
Has this something with the motor tuning to do.

Thanks
