I have sent a correct SYN ACK message back to Mach3

Modbus / Re: two modbus TCP devices at a time ?

dear friend ,

please , I am asking a simple question

did you connected your PLC to Mach3-PC via ethernet switch or router modem or something like that ?

or did you connected PLC and Mach3-PC direct to each other with ethernet cable ( without anything inbetween ) ?

thank you

hello thanks for answering

but I am afraid I couldot express myself clearly

I am trying to MODBUS TCP IP comunicate the Mach3 with my own made ethernet plc

this here:
http://www.oem-plc.com/index15.htm

however I am stuck at the step of TCP IP connection process

whatever I do Mach3 gives "connetion tinmeout" error

my Mach3 PC and the PLC are connected to each other via router modem

now I want ask how did you connect Mach3 with PLC ?
is there a modem or switch inbetween

or did you conected your Mach3 to the PLC with crossover cable ?

I am wondering it is posible with modem router or shall I use crossover cable absolutely

thank you

General Mach Discussion / MACH3 - STM32 MODBUS TCP help
« on: August 29, 2018, 09:06:58 AM »
hello dear forum,

I am trying to MODBUS TCP comunicate STM32 with Mach3

I have read the TCP documents in internet and learned
that first of all Mach3 send a TCP SYN message to the STM32

this time I send a SYN-ACK message to Mach3

after this Mach3 must send a ACK message to STM32 - ( according TCP documents )

as you can see in the attached picture

the SYN from Mach3 and SYN-ACK from STM32 is there
(192.168.1.2) PC (192.168.1.110) STM32

however ACK from Mach3 is missing and Mach3 reports "conection timeout"

there is a warning from Wireshark yellow coloured

what does this warning say ? what shall I do next ?

thank you

I want to do this in order to earn money

http://www.oem-plc.com/index15.htm

this is my own made PLC and it can generate 4 axis 200 Khz
I know that  I can write a plugin for Mach3 for sending puls array to PLC
but I dont know Visual C++ / its very difficult

becouse of this I wanted to ask if it was posible with MODBUS TCP
is there a DRO for axes to keep puls/10 ms array
for examle the 10 x  puls info for 100 ms long
then it was posible to send every 100 ms the 10x puls info array to the PLC
and then the PLC could produce the necessary pulses
