I cannot change the image file for either buttons or LEDs. If I double click in the field nothing happens. What am I missing?

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / V2.84 fixes thread mill bug

I found thread milling, for LH internal threads was adding tool radius to the thread radius instead of subtracting it. It was also making a Z prep move before going to Xcen Ycen, which might be real bad if the tool was off center!

As usual, unzip this file into the Addons folder, then change the folder name from Newfangled284 to simply Newfangled

I cannot get the report- the program crashes just after drawing the pg 1 image and before it completes writing the dialog box with all the edit functions.

I was using v1.39c. I just tried a re-install to see if it would help.

It was jogcont.phg and jogstep.png that I had just added and was testing.

What is a 'project export' ?

I used screen4 to delete the 2 new pngs and then tried to open it with machscreen and it crashes in the same way.

I have again done something to my screen set that causes machscreen to crash. It will draw the screen, open the dialog box for the controls, write a single number '1' then hang for a few seconds, then crash with the 'send report' box.

This is repeatable. I reinstalled 1.39c

The set will open OK by mach and by screen4

Screen designer tips and tutorials / LEDs with transparent off

I want to make 2 LEDs to show the jog state of STEP or CONT. I made an LED with Real Draw that has one side transparent, the other has the word STEP. When the LED cycles I wind up with the word on all the time. It appears that when the LED goes off the Transparent write leaves the old ON state image there and writes transparent over it.

Has anyone tried this? Am I missing something.?

Id like to have the two LEDs on top of one place so either the word STEP or CONT will appear. I cant write the 2 words on one LED because there is a 3rd state, MPG, where both STEP and CONT shold be off.

In all mach DROs you must press the enter key after every entry. Moving the mouse to a new DRO without hitting enter will cause the old value to return.

Looks like I may have solved teh problem- the Start button, and several others got trashed to unknown values. I corrected them, it now looks OK.

I wonder what else is trashed in the file?

I do see strange background images on all my screens except 0. There should be just a plai grey background, I see it mostly white with some grey areas.

How are you supposed to enter a system button? I thought I remembered a pull down list, the only way I can find is to enter and oem code number

I continued to work on my file for several hours. All the edit things I did seemed to work OK, I frequently went back and forth to Mach to test the code.

I then tried to run the code and mach gives the error "'Scripter Complie Error. In:"

If I cnage screen sets to the standard one the code runs fine. Ive tried it on 2 machines. Something in the screen set triggers this error when you ttempt to run any code.

I will attach my screen set.
