The license will unlock any version of Mach3. When you buy the license you get only the license key, you must also download and install Mach3.

No, NFsTurn is a Mach3 addon. The addons for Mach3 include milling and turn wizards and a few other useful operations.

Mill Wizard is a standalone program that generates milling Gcode that can work with any Gcode system, Mach3, Mach4 or others.

There are a few more available from http://ncplot.com/stickfont/stickfont.htm

This is an old Borland font from many years ago.

Good to hear. Let me know how you get on with the new polygon and polyline functions. The polyline is very powerful, but the data entry can be a challenge. I am trying to come up with a better input scheme. Tap cycles are almost complete for a new release in a month or so.

We need to be clear which wizard we are talking about. The one call Addons for Mach3 are scripts that can only run on mach3. The set called NFSMill are standalone programs that can run on any PC and have no connection to Mach3 or Mach4.

The Addons for Mach3 require a license, but do not use a PCID. The license will work on any PC and can be used on more than one PC for hobby use.

The NFSMill program has a PCID and is locked to run on only one PC. It can run in demo mode on any PC and can save a job file, but not gcode.

I do not understand your question. The PCID is generated by the wizard software and displayed in the Help->About box. It has nothing to do with the PCs name. It must be copied exactly as show and sent to the license screen on the machsupport.com web site.

When you are running in demo mode there is no license installed. The About screen will show the PCID for that machine and is the PCID that must be given to the license screen.

Only the newfangled wizards require the license, so the others will work without it.

When you unzip the license you should have a file called WizLic.dat. That file must be in the folder C:\Mach3 Restart Mach3 after putting the license in the folder.

If the license is in the right folder and has the right name but still does not work then something is wrong with the license file and you will have to send a mail to license@machsupport.com and get help on a new license file.

Oh yuck, VISTA? In this latest version we switched to VS2012 for the development tools, and Im pretty sure it doesn't support Vista. I will have to ask Brian about this one, see if he has any good ideas.

PoKeys / Re: Pin assignment of step and direction

The manual is all about Mach3- I am trying to do this for Mach4.

Are the pin numbers the same?

I am planning to connect to my mill through a 25 pin cable- currently a smoothstepper is doing this. I see the PoKey is 3.3v logic- will that drive the breakout board in my mil?
