No, each time the wizard starts up it creates a new file. So you will have to do the editing to make the file. The wizard always uses the same file name, New Program.tap, so it always overwrites any existing file.  Note the file name is always displayed in the box below the code window.

You can , of course, save that file to a new name between runs of the wizard.

If it is a valid license file you have all the correct conditions. My only guess is that somehow the license file itself has been damaged. Send mail to sales@newfangled.com with enough info for Scott to identify your sale and he will replace the license.

The license has no version restrictions, expiration etc.

2.79 is an old version with known bugs, please upgrade to the latest version found in this forum. This will not effect your license issue.

Digitize is not part of the Newfangled set, and I have never run it, so I cant be sure.

I would first try just a single probe movement, just with a G31 command. If it wont probe that way then something is wrong with the probe or its setup Likely the probe is shorted and gets an immediate hit before any motion.

If that works you will have to look at teh code generated. Do you ahve an old program you ran before to try?

If you have really lost it and do not have it backed up on any other disk then send an e-mail to sales@newfangled.com. Give them your full name and the email address you had when you purchased the license. From that Scott should be able to replace your license.

I dont quite follow your problem. If you download the NSFturn zip file form this forum, then uncompress it on the PC into the Turnaddons folder it ought to all be there.

Id guess form the message the .set file got lost in your copy from the first machine.

You should update to the latest version- 2.86 There were some fixes made to the circle comp code a couple years ago.

Yrs, I goofed and put the DRO for RPM there instead of the one for Spindles speed input. Ill fix that next release.

Also see the SeeMeCNC at http://shop.seemecnc.com/ This is a reprap derivative, but it uses Mach for control instead of teh arduino boards.

A lot of interesting development in this area. I still have not done anything but think about it, but I think its time to get started.
