If I remember right homing is a function of the ess not Mach. Have you configured it there? Leave a message on the warp9 forum, andybis good about answering.

I got everything working with axis selection but I don't get anything with moving the mpg.

cnc4pc c36 board
cnc4pc c32 board
ess
 
I download scotts mpg4_6 plugin and his test I/o, I have all the oem triggers at the right time for everything but nothing with the mpg. Now it is a old fanuc mpg, is it compatable with this system? Anyway to test it? I used the settings from cnc4pc and tried setting the mpg debounce at 1.0 in the ess settings, am I missing something?

Use the spindle not the a axis. Look for spindle in motor outputs and in spindle setup both under ports and pins.

I doubt very accurately. There has to be a couple thou variation in the switch especially if the speed varies.

I had a couple issues with the ess, but found that the forum on warp9's website got all my questions answered and issues (so far) resolved quickly.

They are the he original servos and pwr supply to the machine. Hurco sm1-cnc mid 80's era
