Any luck with a drive?

My motors are electro craft e703. The motor spec says max peak 45a but max cont 9.6a. The old drives were 15a fets. They run fine with these. Of course my machine is smaller around 3500 lbs.

So far pretty easy. I am only running motor encoders now and plan to add the linears later. I like the limits going thru the drives to allow easy use of the encoder's index for homing. 45a @140v seems high. Is that the old drive spec or from the motor?

I have been playing around with machdrives and like them so far. The have dual encoder support. David over there is one of the greatest in customer support.

General Mach Discussion / Drive fault input
« on: March 04, 2017, 08:21:42 PM »
I might be having a brain fart but I can't seem to figure this out. My servo drives give off an error signal, where do I put this to stop Mach3 from a drive fault?  Everything else makes sense but I don't see anything in the list of inputs. I wired it to a pin but how do I set it in mach? It is seperate from the drive enable. The drive has step, dir, enable, and error.
Thanks

Thanks. But I meant the brake resistors. It is a 2.2kw drive. Single phase input and a 3hp 3 phase motor.
