Hi,
when you start Mach4 it will ask what profile to use. Have you set up an individual profile, you can copy one of the standard
ones.  I suspect that the screen you are seeing is wxMach.exe whereas the 'good stuff' is wxMachGUI.

Can you post a screen shot of the screen you see?

Hi,
not quite sure why that should be. Please go to edit screen mode and bring up the properties of LEDinput2 and check Enable with Machine
per the attached pic.

Hi,
so when Mach is not enabled you can cause the LEDs on the Machine Diagnostics tab to come on by flicking the input
pin with a piece of wire? With Mach disabled it wont, is that correct?

Hi,
if you have used the SigLib{} table then Mach4 doesn't 'read' the inputs at all.

When a signal changes state, any signal, the signal script runs. The signal script looks in the SigLib table to see if there is an entry
for the signal in there, ie a match between the signal which has just changed and the entries corresponding to the signal we are interested in.

Can you please post the code that you put in SigLib?

Hi Seregius,
<CycleStop> is effectively a crash stop and you insist that you tune your servos so aggressively that they fault when you crash stop.
You could tune them and STILL attain the current cut quality but REDUCE the aggressive crash stop so they don't fault.

Rather than learn how to tune your servos properly you blame Mach.

Hi,
there used to be list that did the rounds on the forum of things that you could do to your PC in order to improve
or even plain get to work the parallel port. The list was quite extensive, it had about 40 items on it, some of them reasonably involved.

I ran Mach3 and two parallel ports with Windows 7 on a very underpowered dual core Atom single board PC with on chip graphics. Despite
the marginal nature of the PC it worked really well.

Then I bought an Ethernet SmoothStepper and have never looked back....I rate overall performance, ease of use, increase in IO, vast increase
in pulse speed, and smoothness of operation to be a 300% gain over my twin parallel port installation.

Just as a matter of comparison I have a second hand Allen Bradley 1.8kW servo as a spindle motor for metal cutting in my mill.
I have had it set up to run at 3500 rpm with its 8000 count per rev encoder WITHOUT electronic gearing. That's a pulse speed
of 466.67kHz. Had to use differential signaling of course but it is JUST SO MUCH BETTER THAN 25kHZ of the parallel port!

yes I agree scams seem to be on the increase.....whether that's a statistical fact or just an observation of an increasingly jaded consumer
is a moot point.

Another feature of todays market is the willingness of consumers to buy on the basis of advertising hype and THEN moan, whinge, threaten,
and blame EVERYONE else about the shortcomings of the product. Hobby CNC products are a case in point.

Hi,
 just read through the C34CP manual, they solve your problem don't they?

Just cut the RJ45 plug off Clearpath servo cable, solder on to the C34CP then plug
the C34CP into the axis socket on the C62.

Recommend opening a support ticket with NFS, than can be a little slow but they do respond.
