Mach Screens / Trouble Loading A New PC With Screen Profile
« on: December 27, 2017, 06:39:29 PM »
Well I guess the title says it all. Several years back I made a custom screen specifically for my setup. I recently had to reinstall a new PC with USB ( that was fun, not) anyway I got it all going except for I can not get my old backup screen profile installed on the new pc right. I get half the script and hardly any buttons. I sure hope someone can help. It would take me half a year to redesign it like I have it from scratch. I forgot everything I knew, which was very little. Anyone got any tips as to why this is doing this. Its weird I have it saved on a zip drive and it will oad from the zip but it wont transfer to the new PC. Pic one is what it does, pic 2 is what it should look like. Thanks for any help.

General Mach Discussion / How Do I Trigger Output at Startup
« on: February 05, 2015, 01:04:17 PM »
On my screen I have 2 AUX Output buttons, that trigger 2 relays. AUX 1 is set to output 1 and automatically triggers when I hit Start. Its a CANDCNC electronics with 2, 110v outputs controlled by relays. How do I get the other relay, which is set to output 2 to also trigger at Start? I can trigger it on by clicking the on screen button, but I need it to start also at Start to trigger the VFD controlled Spindle. Do I edit a line in my Post Processor or do I set something in Mach? I am sorry but I havent messed with Mach for about a year and I forgot what little I did know, and I tried searching but I guess I didnt know how to word it.

I am trying to set up a touch probe for zeroing my Z. I have it working fine, and when I reference the Z it goes to the probe then stops. Without installing the TEX Blue screen can I just enter a code line into my post processor that tells Mach how thick my probe is? My probe is .85 inches tall , so I need Mach to zero that height above when it stops. I really don't want to mess with the Tex screen. Thanks.

Screen designer tips and tutorials / How to turn On/Off Router and Vac.
« on: January 14, 2014, 01:50:43 PM »
I have been trying to set up a custom screen, but am having a lot of trouble. I understand kind of the screen 4 program, but I am dead lost on how to actually program buttons to do certain things. I would appreciate some help or a push in the right direction. I want to re edit a button from the blue probe screen to turn on or off my router and shop vac. Right now I have them as M3-router and M7-vac. Could someone please help? Thanks.

General Mach Discussion / Offset for Laser Pointer?
« on: December 28, 2013, 01:53:08 PM »
I have a couple of questions. I have looked very hard to resolve this on my own but cant seem to find the answer's. My first question is how do I program Mach to always offset form where my tool is to a laser pointer that I will install? I dont have home or limit switches so doing it that way is out. I just want to laser in on my target zero the X and Y then hit go to zero and the tool would go there. Is there a way? Also I want to create 2 buttons on the screen that turn my router and shop vac on or off, it would be a G-Code. Can this be done also? I would really appreiciate somone that could point me in the right direction? Thanks
