Yes, Identical, hence I don't think it a feed rate issue.

Having exactly the same problem on another simple file. Motors graunch and oscillate at about line N125 (half way through circle) onwards in attached file having successfully cut an earlier small circle. Is there a known bug regarding arcs? Pulse rate is stable on Diags screen.

Is this the right place to report problems like this.

(Also, I don't seem to be able to upload .LCAM files)

If it helps, here's the original test DXF I processed with lazycam

True, but feed rates were set to 25 manually. The first pass of the 1st circle cut perfectly. The second pass failed about half way around. It sounded as if Mach3 was sending random direction changes?

Just upgraded from Mach2RC6 to the latest Mach3 R2.  Trying an extremely simple file of a rectangle and 8 holes. Pretty sure machine velocity and accelerations are fine as I can jog around the table with no probs at all.

If I try to run the simple test file (generated by lazycam, the steppers start 'graunching' badly as it runs the second pass of the first circle. Pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the machine setup, so I wonder if there's a bug in the Lazycam or Arc code?

Brian,

Done some more investigation: I was strying the free-standing download of Lazycam as I didn't want Mach3 installed on this particular machine.  Downloaded and installed a full Mach3 build (with Lazycam) and lasycam now loads sample files.  This needs to be flagged to new users!!!

Is the new version available for beta testing?

Thx

Colin

Just got back to Mach2/3 after three years and tried LazyCam. Having EXACTLY the same problem, and getting the same message however simple a DXF is imported. Something is fundamentally wrong here.  If it will help, I have full DevcStudio installed for any debugging I can help with, and would REALLY like to het this working for a simple 2D milling job

Is there a test .dxf that can be downloaded to eliminate that issue?

Colin
