Ok, who else clicked on this expecting...  a poem!

I have never seen a thing
as lovely as can be
It is not a swaying tree
It is, Mach3

(ok there, now you've seen what you came for - move along!  :D )
op
That's great, now if you can convert it into G code I would be  as happy as one can be !

Hi there, has any one done any text engraving in wood, more then just a sign, such as a poem or a couple of paragraphs on mdf? If yes I would like to hear from you, I have a poem of about five paragraphs long it needs to be cut into mdf of a certain size to fit into a frame, what is the best program or text writer to use?

Thanks again Overloaded, will have to dig out the manual and have a bloody good read, seem like there is a lot of info I missed, like the old saying goes "when all else fails read the manual"

Hi there, being very new to the game of cnc and having nearly completed building a cnc router table, I need some advice, I have just conected the limit switches to the x,y and z axis and may I say that they work really well, BUT every time a switch is activated it stops the machine and I have to turn of the power to the steppers in order to move the machine of the mark to re activate the axis, is there an ??? easier way of re-activating the axis without having to turn it back manually by hand to restart the machine? if there is I would greatly appreciate it if some one could explain it to me.

General Mach Discussion / Z axis

Hi there, my name is Nick I have only just started in cnc and in the process of building my first xyz table, I have connected the machine and trial running Mach3, but am having a problem withe Z axis, in the program it shows the z axis as going up but on my machine it is actually going down and vise versa, is there a setting in Mach 3 to change the rotation of the stepper from VW to CCW or do I have to change the wiring on the motor or the drivers? Like I said I have very little knowledge of the whole cnc concept, only what I have learned from the internet and looking at a lot of utube videos

Nick ??? ???
